Once again, guilty, of scrolling through the well known Red P…Pinterest! Wanting to have something to snack on, satisfy hunger, and not be terrible for me, I stumbled across these amazing little balls of energy and cannot wait to make more!
There are several different ingredients that can be added here for individual liking, which makes them that much better! (I just noticed I use a lot of exclamation points, but I am legit super excited about sharing this! Haha.)
With few ingredients, minimal time spent in the kitchen, and quality time with my middle, these babies developed…and then diminished.
- 1c rolled oats
- 1/3c honey
- 1/2c chocolate chips
- 1/2c chunky (or creamy) peanut butter
- 1/2c raisins (or crasins, cocont, almonds, walnuts, etc)
- 1tsp vanilla extract (or almond)
- 1/2c chia seeds (or flax seeds) (optional)
-Mix ingredients, chill for a few minutes, roll into balls for a quick snack, or even breakfast! Makes about 15 small to medium size balls.
